witness vs follower

a group of brothers and sisters got baptist this afternoon. It was a joyous moment to be the witness of them willingly gave their lives to God. as pastor prayed for one of the sister, she mentioned about to be a follower of Christ. and this word 'follower' got me into thinking...I dont want to be witness only, but i want to be a true follower & disciple of Christ Jesus. this is a timely reminder...Im not on earth to waste my time seeing what people do, but Im involve in the kingdom of God! To spread the gospel and to expand His kingdom. Lord, please forgive me for wasting so much time to just sit down & think. For the word of God says faith without action is death! God, i need Your strength & wisdom. And I'm willing to be Your follower. Amen.
